To make this scented white tea, the long silver leaves of Silver Needle white tea are naturally infused with Jasmine by layering the leaves together with the flowers and leaving over night. In the morning the flowers are removed from the tea and the process is repeated until the correct level of flavouring has been achieved.
This tea is grown and produced in the spectacular and mountainous province of Fujian on the Southeast coast of China.
The buds needed to make Silver Needle tea are only harvested for a few days every spring making this tea very rare and exceptionally exquisite.
The pale brew gives off strong Jasmine scents while the taste remains refined and light as expected from high quality white teas.
Jasmine tea sold today is often just made with Jasmine flavouring but our Jasmine Silver Needle is the genuine thing, we do not use any chemicals to enhance the flavour of our tea.
