From its original source in the Wuji region of the Fujian province, on the Southeast coast of China, this black tea is the ideal black tea. It is light while retaining a lot of flavour so you can drink it all day, every day and never get bored. It is ripe and floral without being too over powering but complex enough to keep you guessing.
Zhen Shan translates to mean “Original Mountain” and only tea (such as this one) that is picked in the Wuji Mountain harvest area can be named Zhen Shan.
It can be drunk with or without milk and is a nice accompaniment to afternoon tea in the garden.
This tea is also available smoked in the form of Lapsang Souchong.
