Yaaay we did it! We won we won! Think I’m talking about the Olympics? Think again!
LuLin Teas have won 4 Great Taste Awards gaining a total of 7 gold stars across the 4 teas!!
We are so incredibly proud that all our hard work in sourcing these teas has been recognised and that the teas have been rewarded for their high quality and complex flavours!
We are most excited to announce that our premium grade Lapsang Souchong has won a 3 Star award as only 123 out of the 8,807 product that were submitted won this and only 4 Single Estate loose leaf teas in total won a 3 star award.
3 Gold Star winner: Lapsang Souchong!Our Fujian Oolong won a 2 Star award due to its “Green melony flavour” and our Ginseng Oolong and Yellow Tips both won a 1 Star each.
I can’t tell you how happy we are that we have won these awards. We don’t have massive marketing budgets and big funds behind us to get us noticed so to be recognised by the judges for the quality of our teas just means the world to us! We will be exhibiting at the Speciality and Fine Foods Fair in Olympia, London 2nd – 4th September and would love to see you there as we will be showcasing our award winners!
